1 Mine ETH with GPU
Different from Bitcoin which is mined by ASIC miners, ETH is mined by GPU miners.
2 Preparation
2.1 PC: You need a PC to execute a mining proxy program as a proxy for GPU miners.
2.2 Mining programs: eth-proxy.exe & start-eth-miner.bat
Download ETH mining software: http://download.viabtc.com/viabtc-eth-miner.zip
Note: You can find them under files named “eth-proxy” and “eth-miner”.
2.3 GPU miners: Your GPU miners need to run the programs above and be ready for ETH mining.
3 Configure mining proxy
Please find “eth-proxy.conf” under file “eth-proxy” and open it with a text editor. Settings are as follows:
WALLET = “Account” # Set your mining account MUST
Note: Please enter ViaBTC pool accounts or sub accounts. DO NOT enter an ETH wallet address.
Leave the rest as default.
After setting your wallet, please find “eth-proxy.exe” under file “eth-proxy” and double click to run proxy.
4 Configure miner
Please find “start-eth-miner.bat” under file “eth-miner”
Note: Please pay attention to this code ”http://eth-proxyLANaddress:8080/workID”
Please replace “eth-proxyLANaddress” with your actual eth-proxy address, e.g. 127.0.0.1;
Meanwhile, please rename workID with numbers, e.g. 001 for the 1st miner, 002 for the 2nd one, and so on for more convenient management.
Lastly, please double click “start-eth-miner.bat” to run miners.
5 Start mining ETH
You can check real-time status of your workers in ETH mining pool of ViaBTC at any time: https://pool.viabtc.com/pool/eth/home/

MSVCP140.DLL was not found？
Please follow the following instructions to retrieve MSVCP140.DLL:
Step 1: Google and download MSVCP140.DLL.
Step 2: Copy and paste MSVCP140.DLL to designated system directory after decompression:
1. Windows 95/98/Me: C:\Windows\System.
2. Windows NT/2000: C:\WINNT\System32.
3. Windows XP/Windows 7/Vista: C:\Windows\System32 .
Note: If your system is 64-bit, please copy and paste the file to C:\Windows\SysWOW64
Step 3: Open and run regsvr32 MSVCP140.DLL.
- VCRUNTIME140.DLL was not found？
Please follow the following instructions to retrieve VCRUNTIME140.DLL:
Step 1: Google and download VCRUNTIME140.DLL.
Step 2: Copy and paste VCRUNTIME140.DLL to designated system directory after decompression:
1. Windows 95/98/Me: C:\Windows\System.
2. Windows NT/2000: C:\WINNT\System32.
3. Windows XP/Windows 7/Vista: C:\Windows\System32 .
Note: If your system is 64-bit, please copy and paste the file to C:\Windows\SysWOW64
Attention
1. If you are mining ETH with ETH-miner, Claymore, or local mining softwares such as “Changsha Miner” etc, you can use your ViaBTC nickname or ETH deposit address in ViaBTC ETH pool as your miner name.
2. Please be aware that ONLY ETH deposit address of ViaBTC mining pool can be set as your miner name.
